Delinquency Court
A delinquent referral is a referral for an act that is designated a crime by the laws of this State, under federal laws, or by local ordinances, including certain traffic offenses. The act would have been committed by a child under the age of 17 years. Delinquency hearings are generally closed to the public, except in certain statutorily-mandated cases. If you would like access to a hearing or to record a hearing, you will need to file the appropriate motion in the Office of the Clerk of Juvenile Court. Forms for Delinquency Court are available on the Clerk of Juvenile Court web page.
