  • Where is Juvenile Court located?
  • Muscogee County Juvenile Court is located on the 1st floor in the East Wing of the Columbus Consolidated Government Center at 100 10th Street, Columbus, Georgia 31901.

  • Where are Juvenile Court payments made and what forms of payment are accepted?
  • Juvenile Court payments are made in the Office of the Clerk of Juvenile Court, located on the 1st floor in the East Wing of the Columbus Consolidated Government Center at 100 10th Street, Columbus, Georgia 31901.
     
    Please refer to your payment/contempt notice for due dates and balance information.
  • How can I receive a copy of a Juvenile Court order?
  • Due to the confidential nature of Juvenile Court records, the Clerk's Office staff is prohibited from providing case information to most members of the public who are not parties to the case and cannot provide any information over the phone, even to parties. If you are a party to a case, please bring current picture identification (driver's license, state issued identification, military identification, etc.) into the office to request copies of filings.
     
    COPY FEES:
    Regular Copy:$1.00 per page
    Certified Copy:$2.00 for the certification and $0.50 for each page

    If your order is not yet filed in the Clerk's Office, staff will request a copy of the order from the attorney, however, the Clerk's Office has no control over when they are filed and cannot provide a specific date when it will be filed.
  • I would like to speak to the Judge about a case, might you make an appointment for me?
  • The simple answer is no. Judges are prohibited ex-parte communications. You should request a hearing on a pending motion, or file the appropriate motion, if you would like to speak to the Judge.
  • How do I have my record sealed?
  • Please contact the Clerk's Office at 706-225-4290 to discuss the sealing of records.
  • How do I get a copy of my juvenile legal history?
  • If you need a copy of a juvenile legal history, the child or the parent/legal guardian will need to come to the office to request the information. The child or the parent/legal guardian must bring a picture ID. The parent must be listed in our system as being the parent or we may not legally release any documentation. There is a $1.00 per page fee associated with the legal history.
  • I have a question, might I email the Court?
  • Yes, if you have a questions regarding a Juvenile Court matter that does not involve case specific information, please email the court at juvenilecourt@columbusga.org
